HEIMDALS HAMLET - EQUUS KINSKY RARE BREED

Stunning 16.1 hh, Equus Kinsky Rare Breed Palomino Stallion.

Registered and branded at Zangerseide (ZfdP) and Approved by Danish Palomino Society where he was National Champion 2004 at the Stallion Elections.

Hamlet AKA "Golden Balls" lives at home with his owners in a mixed yard, gets turned out and is generally treated as one of the horses although he is quick to express himself verbally whenever possible!

He has the typical Equus Kinsky temperament, bombproof and solid in everyway, not hot or spooky like a traditional warmblood and with a very level headed personality.

One of the breed characteristics is the intensive gloss shine which each Kinsky horse, whichever colour, naturally produces.

Hamlet's sire is Husar tynsky out of the famous warmblood KINSKY breed, which was founded more than 1000 years ago in Bohemia.

Currently with less than 1,000 Kinsky horses surviving world-wide it is one of the rarest horse breeds in the world.

HAMLET'S HISTORY:

Hamlet was registered and branded at Zangerseide so his foals can have Zfdp passports. He was approved in 2002 for breeding by the Danish Palomino breeding association. He was shown at the National Horse Show in Herning, Denmark gaining 23 points and the prize of honour.

In 2003 he passed the material test at Vilhelmsborg. Approved for breeding by Zfdp: Zuchtverband für Deutche Pferde. Competed in the Danish riding association’s championship for 4-year old horses and achieved 73%.

Hamlets first born filly, Mae Harriet, was best foal in the show.

He was awarded the 2004 Champion at the stallion election for the Danish Palomino breeding association and competed at L-level dressage gaining 70%.

He was given Top score in 2004 with 24 points at Gl Estrup Show. Hamlets filly Endeaveur II, was best filly in the show.

He was bought by the Daly Family in 2005 where he was successfully shown at The Royal and The British Palomino Society National Championships.

He is being produced slowly and correctly by international rider Kirsty Farren and we have regular training with Jenny Ward. Currently consistently receiving percentages in the 70's at BD Elementary Level so we will next compete him at Medium.

Our objective is to produce Hamlet to Grand Prix with consistently high scores at every level, every time while breeding from our own excellent bloodline mares.

In 2008 he has successfully added to the Kinsky line producing 2 beautiful Palomino Fillies and 1 Dun Colt. See Foal page for photographs.
